Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in a chemical company at the industrial area at Rampally in Keesara on the city outskirts here on Monday. No casualties were reported in the fire which is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, police said.
According to the police, workers of the chemical company noticed the fire and rushed out to safety. Local residents alerted the fire department and the police personnel.
Fire caught the plastic containers which were filled with chemicals, which triggered dark smoke that covered the surroundings. The flames also spread to the adjacent company.
