Hyderabad: Malkajgiri traffic police books 124 motorists in drunk-driving crackdown

The Malkajgiri traffic police booked 124 motorists during a drunk-driving enforcement drive. Among those caught were two-wheeler, three-wheeler and four-wheeler drivers, while three offenders recorded blood alcohol concentration levels exceeding 300 mg/100 ml.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri traffic police during a drunk driving check conducted caught 124 persons who were found driving in inebriated condition and booked cases against them.

Among those caught are drivers of two wheelers – 112, three wheelers – 7 and four wheelers – 5. Of the total persons caught the BAC level of three individuals was found to be above 300 mg/100 ml. All the persons who are booked will have to appear before the court for legal proceedings, the police stated.
