Hyderabad: Man allegedly stabbed to death by two friends in Upparpally

A young man identified as Waseem was allegedly stabbed to death by two friends following an argument at Happy Homes in Upparpally on Thursday evening. Attapur police registered a case and are examining CCTV footage and other evidence.

Hyderabad: A young man was allegedly stabbed to death by two of his friends at Happy Homes in Upparpally under Attapur police station limits on Thursday.

The victim, identified as Waseem, was reportedly attacked with knives following an argument among the friends around 6 pm, in full public view.

The CCTV footage is said to have captured the incident.

According to police sources, Waseem and the suspects had previously been booked in cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. They allegedly developed a grudge against Waseem on suspicion that he was leaking information about their drug selling activities.

The argument reportedly escalated, with two men allegedly attacking Waseem with knives, resulting in his death on the spot.

The Attapur police have registered a case and are investigating.

Police are examining the CCTV footage and gathering further evidence to establish the sequence of events and identify all those involved.
