Hyderabad: Man arrested for giving ‘supari’ to kill businessman
According to the police, the arrested person, Hussain Bin Salha Awalgi alias Mohsin Awalgi (43) of Osmannagar in Shaheennagar, had purchased a plot from one Mohammed Jabri for Rs 6 lakh
Hyderabad: A person against whom a rowdy sheet is maintained by the Balapur police was arrested on Saturday for allegedly offering a ‘supari’ to a person for killing a businessman.
According to the police, the arrested person, Hussain Bin Salha Awalgi alias Mohsin Awalgi (43) of Osmannagar in Shaheennagar, had purchased a plot from one Mohammed Jabri for Rs 6 lakh. Later, the plot was sold to some other person by Awalgi for Rs 8 lakh. When the owner came to take physical possession of the property, another person claimed ownership. Awalgi sorted out the issue and paid Rs 2 lakh to the person. Afterwards, he started asking the amount from Jabri. “When Jabri refused to give the money, Awalgi offered a supari of Rs 2 lakh to one Mirza to kill Jabri. On information, our team caught Awalgi,” said B Bhaskar, SHO (Balapur).
