Hyderabad: Man booked for allegedly harassing woman with promise of IT Job
Banjara Hills police have registered a case against a man accused of allegedly harassing a young woman after luring her with an IT job promise. The woman alleged that he threatened to share her private photographs and chats with her parents.
Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police have registered a case against Venkata Sambasiva Reddy for allegedly harassing a young woman after luring her with the promise of an IT job.
Police said the suspect threatened to send her private photographs and chat screenshots to her parents. The woman, a native of Prakasam district, is pursuing her studies while staying in a hostel in Hyderabad.
According to the complaint, the suspect called her to a room on the pretext of conducting a job interview and allegedly behaved inappropriately with her.
The woman subsequently approached the Banjara Hills police, following which a case was registered.
Police are investigating the allegations.
