Hyderabad: Man caught for hoax call to blow up Telangana Secretariat
Based on phone number and location, police tracked Mohammed Ali and arrested him from Langar Houz

Hyderabad: A man was arrested on charges of threatening to blow up the Telangana Secretariat here on Tuesday.
As per available information, one Syed Mir Mohammed Ali (35), a resident of Langar Houz, had been calling the Secretariat claiming to have planted a bomb in the premises and that it would blow off soon.
Even on Tuesday, after one such phone call, the Secretariat officials alerted the Telangana Special Police Force (SPF), who along with the City Security Wing (CSW) and Anti-Sabotage Teams checked the premises and confirmed there was no bomb. It was only after the confirmation, authorities relaxed.
Based on the phone number and location, the police tracked Mohammed Ali and arrested him from Langar Houz.
On interrogation, Mohammed Ali confessed that he was upset as there was no response from the government or the government officials regarding his plea about a religious site.
The police are trying to gather more information and investigating from all possible angles.
