Hyderabad man detained for alleged sexual assault of 12-year-old daughter
Chandrayangutta police detained a man after his 12-year-old daughter allegedly alerted Dial 112 following an attempted sexual assault. The girl reportedly told police that her father had been sexually assaulting her over a period of time
Hyderabad: The Chandrayangutta police have detained a man for allegedly sexually assaulting his 12-year-old daughter over a period of time.
According to police, the girl alerted Dial 112 on Thursday night after her father allegedly attempted to sexually assault her.
Acting on information from the control room, police reached the house. The girl came out of the house and accompanied the police to the station.
Based on her complaint, police detained the accused at Chandrayangutta crossroads.
The girl reportedly told police that her father had been sexually assaulting her for some time while threatening and intimidating family members.
The Chandrayangutta Police are now collecting further details from the girl’s mother and other witnesses as part of the investigation.
