Hyderabad: Man dies of cardiac arrest while offering prayers at temple

K.Vishnuvardhan (31), died reportedly due to cardiac arrest while offering prayers at Veeranjaneya Swamy temple located at the KPHB colony on Monday morning.

Hyderabad: A man who went to a temple to offer prayers died reportedly due to cardiac arrest on Monday. The incident came to light on Tuesday after the video footage of the incident came into public domain.

K.Vishnuvardhan (31), a private employee went to the Veeranjaneya Swamy temple located at the KPHB colony on Monday morning. At the temple, he suddenly collapsed while offering prayers. The devotees at the temple rushed to him and one of them performed a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on him.

The 108 personnel reached the spot and pronounced the man dead. The police shifted the body for post-mortem examination. A case is registered.

The police suspect that the man died due to cardiac arrest.
