Khammam: A 19-year-old B Tech student reportedly died of cardiac arrest at Wyra in the district.
The deceased student K Raghav (19), the son of a councillor from the 10th ward of Wyra Municipality Kinnera Krishna, was studying first-year B Tech at a private college in Hyderabad. He came home two days ago for the Dasara holidays.
On Friday morning, a clothing vendor arrived at their home. While his mother was looking at some garments, Raghav remarked to his father to check for a few shirts that would look good on him and collapsed while sitting on a cot.
The family members, shocked at the incident, immediately performed CPR and rushed him to a private hospital in Wyra by an auto-rickshaw. However, doctors confirmed that he had already died due to a heart attack. The incident caused a pall of gloom to descend on the tenth ward.
