Hyderabad: A local court in Malkajgiri sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a murder case reported at Kushaiguda in 2015. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10, 000 on him. The convicted person is I Srinivas alias Ganesh alias Ghani (36), a private employee from Prashanth Nagar in Moula Ali.

It was in October 2015, the convict hacked to death one P Srinivas at the latter’s house in Kailasagiri in HB Colony, in an inebriated condition. He bore a grudge against the victim after believing that he was the reason for disputes in his family.

Based on a complaint, the Kushaiguda police booked a case and arrested him. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat appreciated the investigation officer and team for their efforts in bringing the culprit to book.
