Hyderabad: Man held for threatening to kidnap MLA’s son
AIMIM legislator Kauser Mohiuddin had lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police and sought action against the person
Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police detained one person on suspicion of making phone calls to AIMIM legislator Kauser Mohiuddin from Karwan and demanding Rs 50 lakh after threatening to kidnap his son.
The legislator had lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police and sought action against the person.
The legislator was in Siddipet when the person, said to be a 21-year-old, called and threatened to kidnap his son. It is learnt that during the questioning, the youngster told the police that the MLA’s son had quarreled with him on the road at Humayunnagar two months ago.
