Hyderabad man held for using Mumbai car number plate to evade challans
Attapur police arrested a man for fraudulently using another vehicle’s registration number to evade traffic fines. The accused had used a Mumbai car’s number plate, leading to challans being wrongly reflected against its owner.

Hyderabad: The Attapur police on Tuesday arrested a man for fraudulently using a registration number belonging to another vehicle, on his car to evade traffic challans.
The accused has been identified as a 28-year-old Syed Rizwan Ali, a resident of Rajendranagar, and a native of Karimnagar, He was found to be using a vehicle number MH04KW7706 allotted to a different car owned by Yash Manoj, who is a resident of Mulund West, Mumbai and was driving the four-wheeler.
Several challans were generated on the vehicle of Syed Rizwan for traffic violations and those fines were reflected against the car registration number of Manoj.
Upon receiving a complaint, the Attapur police registered a case and traced down the vehicle of Rizwan. Efforts are on to ascertain the registration number of Rizwan’s vehicle.
