Hyderabad: Man jailed for harassing minor
S Akhil (21), a driver from Abdullapurmet, allegedly stalked and harassed a young woman under the pretext of love. When she resisted, he threatened her. Following her complaint, Chaitanyapuri police filed a case and arrested him.
Hyderabad: A local court on Wednesday sentenced a man to undergo imprisonment of three years in a minor girl harassment case booked in Chaitanyapuri in 2022. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 11,000 on him.
S Akhil (21), a driver from Abdullapurmet stalked and harassed the girl on pretext of love. When she resisted his attempts, he threatened her.
Based on her complaint, the Chaitanyapuri police booked a case and arrested him.
The court also ordered compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the victim.
