Hyderabad: A man killed his wife, suspecting her of infidelity, at Sanathnagar in the city on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police, the woman, G Renuka (38), and her husband, M Naresh (40), lived at Vasavi Brindavanam Apartment in Fatehnagar, Sanathnagar. The couple has three daughters.

“Since last four days, the couple were quarrelling as Naresh suspected Renuka was speaking to someone over the phone. On Tuesday between 11 am and 12 pm, Naresh had an argument with his wife over the same issue. In a fit of rage, the man took a knife and slit the throat of Renuka, leading to her death. He fled away from the place,” said Inspector Sanathnagar, D Ashok.
