Hyderabad: Man posing as Tahsildar caught in Telangana Secretariat

Hyderabad: A man who posed as the Tahsildar and moved suspiciously in the Telangana Secretariat was caught by the police on Thursday.

The suspect, identified as K Anjaiah, was moving in the premises wearing a fake ID card. He pasted a sticker as ‘Tahsildar’ on his car for easy access into the Secretariat.

Special Police Force personnel caught him and on questioning he revealed his true identity. He was further handed over to Saifabad police, who are questioning him. The car and fake ID card used in the offence too were seized. It was found that the fake ID card was prepared at a local internet shop.

The police are interrogating if Anjaiah had cheated anyone financially by showing a fake ID.
