Hyderabad: A man was stabbed, allegedly by a drunk man, at Ibrahimpatnam on the city outskirts on Friday.
Police said the victim Narayana Reddy, who was passing by a liquor outlet, was attacked by Lingam, who was in an inebriated condition. It is suspected they had a casual talk, and the conversation turned serious with both starting to abuse each other. Lingam then broke a liquor bottle and stabbed Reddy, who was shifted to hospital. His condition was stated to be stable.
The Ibrahimpatnam police are investigating.
