Hyderabad: Man stabbed to death in Asifnagar

Hyderabad: Unidentified persons stabbed a man to death at his house in Asifnagar here on Wednesday afternoon. The assailants barged into the house and attacked him with sharp weapons. Previous enmity is suspected to have led to the murder, police said.
The man, Syed Ejaz (35), a resident of Gudimalkapur in Asifnagar, is suspected to have known the killers, who could have come to the house to talk to him at 2 pm and then stabbed him to death. “He could have been murdered following an argument with the persons who came to meet him. He was stabbed to death with sharp weapons,” the Asifnagar police said.
The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Footage from surveillance cameras in the colony and lanes leading to it are being collected and examined to identify the killers.
