Hyderabad: Manager booked for alleged harassment of 19-year-old employee

A 19-year-old telecaller in Ameerpet has alleged harassment by her manager after being taken to a movie and later confined in the office. Punjagutta police have registered a case and are investigating the incident based on her complaint.

Hyderabad: A manager of a private firm was booked by the Punjagutta police for allegedly harassing a 19-year-old woman employee in Ameerpet.

The woman, who works as a telecaller, was allegedly taken to a movie by her manager, identified as T Baburao, on April 11. After returning to the office, he allegedly snatched her mobile phone, confined her in a room, and forced her to consume alcohol.


The suspect is further alleged to have behaved inappropriately with her during the incident.

Following the complaint, the police booked a case and are investigating.
