Hyderabad: Massive boulder falls on Manchirevula service road, disrupts vehicular movement
A massive boulder shifted from a rocky outcrop and fell onto the Manchirevula service road on the outskirts of Hyderabad, causing significant traffic disruption on Thursday. The Cyberabad traffic police promptly responded and efforts are underway to clear the boulder and restore the traffic flow.
Hyderabad: A large boulder from the rocky outcrop along the Manchirevula service road slid onto the road resulting in traffic disruptions in the city’s outskirts on Thursday.
Following the rock falling down onto the road, teams of Cyberabad traffic police were rushed to the spot.
In a public advisory, the traffic police have urged the commuters coming from TGPA towards the Narsingi side to take a diversion at Manchirevula underpass towards Narsingi-Kokapet Service Road until Narsingi Rotary 2.
Meanwhile, efforts were underway to remove the boulder which apparently slid due to the incessant heavy rains over the last few days. The traffic police were on-site to manage the situation and restore traffic movement.
