Hyderabad: Mega vaccination drive at Hitex on Sunday

Pre-registered individuals will have to walk-in at the Hitex Exhibition Grounds, scan a QR Code and proceed to get vaccinated

Hyderabad: A mega Covid vaccine administration drive aimed at covering at least 40,000 individuals above 18 years in one day is being organized from 8 am to 9 pm on Sunday at Hitex Exhibition grounds, Madhapur.

Being jointly organized by Medicover Hospitals, Cyberabad Commissionerate and Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), the mega vaccination drive will have 500 counters and slots for individuals who have already registered in CoWIN, will be available throughout the course of the day.

Pre-registered individuals will have to walk-in at the Hitex Exhibition Grounds, scan a QR Code and proceed to get vaccinated. Covaxin of Bharat Biotech will be available for vaccination.

Krishna Yedula, General Secretary, SCSC, said, “We believe that vaccination is the only solution under the current circumstances. We are hoping that the maximum number of people will benefit from this initiative”.
