Hyderabad Metro receives IGBC Green Existing MRTS Platinum Certification for all 57 metro stations

Hyderabad: L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRHL) on Tuesday announced that it has achieved the prestigious IGBC Green Existing MRTS Platinum Certification for all 57 metro stations across its entire network i.e. Red Line, Blue Line, and Green Line corridors.
“It is an honour to receive the prestigious recognition and is a testament to our team’s dedication to sustainability and their relentless efforts to create a greener future for Hyderabad. This achievement reinforces our commitment to providing eco-friendly, efficient, and reliable public transportation to the city,” CEO and MD, L&T MRHL, KVB Reddy, in a press release said.

The L&TMRHL received the certification at the Green Building Congress 2024 in Bengaluru, hosted by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), recently.
The award was presented to KVB Reddy, and Sudhir Chiplunkar, COO, L&TMRHL, B. Thiagarajan, Chairman, IGBC, Christopher de la Cruz, CEO, Philippine Green Building Council, and Mr. C. Shekhar Reddy, National Vice-Chairman, CII-IGBC.
