Hyderabad: Migrant worker electrocuted in Patancheru factory
A 34-year-old migrant worker from Bihar, Suresh Singh Yadav, died of electrocution at Agarwal Rubber Industries in Patancheru on Thursday.
Sangareddy: A 34-year-old industrial worker died of electrocution at Agarwal Rubber Industries in the Bandlaguda industrial area of Patancheru on Thursday. The victim was identified as Suresh Singh Yadav, a migrant worker from Bihar.
Following the incident, co-workers and family members of the victim staged a protest at the factory premises, demanding justice and compensation for the bereaved family. The kin alleged that the accident occurred due to the management’s failure to implement basic safety measures.
After prolonged discussions, the management agreed to pay an ex gratia of Rs. 55 lakh. The family had initially demanded Rs. 1 crore.
