Students of Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Muskaan Prasad and Hari Krishna along with ZPHS Girls Medchal students - Shreya and Maneesha exhibited their work on ‘Plastic shredder’ which is used to recycle the plastic waste and protect the environment.
Hyderabad: Students of MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT) bagged first prize in Anveshana-2021, a national level competition conducted by Agastya International Foundation with an objective to enhance mentoring and leadership skills among the engineering students and training the school students on various technologies. Along with mementos, the winning students were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 30,000.
In this competition, students of Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Muskaan Prasad and Hari Krishna along with ZPHS Girls Medchal students – Shreya and Maneesha exhibited their work on ‘Plastic shredder’ which is used to recycle the plastic waste and protect the environment.
MLRIT Secretary Marri Rajasekhar Reddy congratulated the students and the faculty for their success and said, “MLRIT is committed not only to promote innovation but also for social welfare through Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.
Muskaan Prasad and Hari Krishna said, “We thank the management for believing in us and supporting through project funding for an amount of Rs 20,000”.
Principal, Dr K Srinivas Rao and HoD Aeronautical Engineering, Dr M Satyanarayan Gupta also congratulated the students and A Sai Kumar, the faculty advisor.
