Hyderabad: The Department of ECE, Marri Laxman Reddy Institute Technology, (MLRIT) Hyderabad, has organized a one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Python Programming for 5G Communications’ from February 14 to 22. The AICTE-ISTE sponsored online programme was organized with an aim to train the faculty members in cutting edge technologies.
Faculty members from various colleges across the country participated in the event and utilized the scope to enhance their knowledge on the area, the MLRIT said.
Professors from IITs and NITs conducted the sessions. Eminent academicians like Prof. Abhay Kumar Sah from IIT Roorkee, Prof. Vimal Bhatia from IIT Indore and other professors shared their expertise in the area with the participants.
MLRIT Secretary Marri Rajasekhar Reddy appreciated the effort of the ECE department for successfully conducting the event that helped teachers equipped with latest trends in the technology. He also expressed his happiness seeing the gradual transformation of MLRIT as a hub of all such intellectually fulfilling events. Principal Dr. K Srinivasa Rao stressed the importance of conducting the FDP.
