Hyderabad: With Covid continuing to be a concern, many players are coming up with new services that allow people to deal with the situation better.
MediBuddy, a digital healthcare platform, said it is facilitating vaccinations for corporates and employees across 130 cities and has tied up with 350 plus top hospitals. It will set vaccination camps at the office premises of corporates or at its partner hospital as per the need, said Satish Kannan, CEO, MediBuddy.
MediBuddy is also helping people in Telangana consult a doctor for free of cost within 30 minutes via its app and has about 10,000 doctors registered on the platform pan-India. It has seen more than 43,000 Covid related queries from Telangana.
Another player, RapiPay Fintech, an assisted payments fintech company, too is facilitating Covid-19 vaccination registration through its agent app and website. RapiPay has used a tool on its website and app that redirects users to Covid vaccination data available on CoWIN website on a live basis. Using the app, the agents will be able to assist their customers check vaccination availability in their area and register vaccination slot.
“Non-tech users, especially in rural markets, might not be able to register on the CoWIN or Aarogya setu app on their own. With this initiative, their vaccination registration can be facilitated through our direct business outlets (DBOs) who use RapiPay daily for their business,” said Yogendra Kashyap, CEO, RapiPay.
