Officials believe their arrest could reveal further crucial details about the conspiracy behind the killing.
Moizuddin was killed on May 23 after being run over by a car in the Red Hills area of Hyderabad. The incident was initially suspected to be a hit-and-run case, but an analysis of CCTV footage later led police to conclude that it was a premeditated murder.
Subsequently, seven suspects, including the alleged masterminds Mujahid Alam Khan and Mahboob Alam Khan, have been arrested.
During custodial interrogation, police reportedly uncovered key evidence linking the murder to longstanding disputes over Wakf properties in Malakpet and Lakdi-ka-pul.
Police allege that Mahboob Alam Khan had been planning the murder for a considerable period and had entrusted the execution of the plot to his associate Kishan Singh.
According to the investigation, Kishan Singh allegedly arranged a contract killing network through Hasan Ali and Munir, spending around Rs 15 lakh to eliminate the lawyer. Meanwhile, lookout notices have been issued against Hasan Ali and Munir, who are suspected to be moving between tourist destinations such as Goa, Ooty and Bengaluru to evade arrest.
Police believe the duo is avoiding the use of mobile phones and maintaining no contact with family members in an effort to remain undetected.
Police authorities are also preparing to initiate legal action against anyone found to have assisted the absconding suspects in evading arrest.
