Hyderabad: NGO distributes over 30,000 free meals in 25 days

Hyderabad: Vedanth Foundation, a city-based NGO, has distributed over 30,000 free meals in the last 25 days, and on Saturday officially launched its logo.
The logo was unveiled by Viplav Kumar, chairman of Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TUFIDC), along with Arvind Alishetty, chairman of the Foundation.
The NGO distributed free meals to patients, attendants and staff at Gandhi Hospital, Niloufer Hospital, Fever Hospital and to RTC employees in the second wave of the pandemic. “We are still continuing our free meals and the needy can contact us at 9985588821,” said Arvind, adding, “We are giving about 1,200-1,500 meal boxes a day.”
