Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Youth Courage, a city-based non-government organisation, president Mohd Salman on Tuesday came down heavily on the Congress government for cheating the minorities by assuring a graveyard.
Mohd Salman said that Congress leaders tried to con the Muslims of Jubilee Hills constituency by allocating “disputed 2,500 square yards of land” at Alkapur Shaikpet.
“The army authorities reached the spot the next day and stopped the works. Again, local Congress functionaries damaged a boundary wall at Erragadda and claimed the land parcel would serve as a burial ground. Now local non-Muslims are protesting over it,” he said.
Salman added that the Congress party cheated the Muslims twice in two days over graveyard land. “In the dead of the night, graveyards and religious structures were damaged in Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s constituency Kodangal. Muslims should understand the Congress party and their assurances,” he said.
