Hyderabad: City-based National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management Hyderabad (NITHM) signed an MoU with University of Food Technologies (UFT), Plovdiv, Bulgaria, to promote the development of cooperation in the field of research and education in tourism and culinary science through exchange of students and faculty, joint research projects, participation and organisation of joint conferences and workshops.
The MoU was entered into virtually during a conference on ‘Hyderabad and Plovdiv Cooperation in Innovative Education and Tourism’, a press release said. The conference was organised by Consular of Bulgaria for the State of Telangana, Plovdiv Tech Park, Orpheus Club Wellness, and Hyderabad Talkies. It was supported by NITHM, Mahatma Gandhi Bulgarian-Indian Technology Forum Foundation, Mahatma Gandhi International Higher School of Informatics and E-Leadership, Bulgaria, Municipality of Plovdiv, the University of Food Technologies-Plovdiv and Varna Free University, Bulgaria.
The Ambassador of India to Bulgaria, Sanjay Rana and the Ambassador of Bulgaria to India, Eleonora Dimitrova discussed the cooperation and promotion of the development of tourism and trade between Bulgaria and Hyderabad.
