The celebrations featured performing ‘Nitai Gauranga Ashtottara Kalasha Maha Abhishekam’ with 108 Kalashas filled with varieties of fruit juices, flowers, panchamritam, panchagavyam, sugandha dravyas, etc.

Later, the festivities featured ‘Maha Arathi’ accompanied by a three-hour scintillating ‘Hari Nama Sankirtana’ by the devotees followed by a special Chappan Bhog offerings (56 varieties) of various food items. Later, the devotees were provided with facilities along with sumptuous prasadam.

The president of HKM-Hyderabad, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa said that “Sri Nityananda is an incarnation of Lord Balarama. He gives spiritual strength to the devotees aspiring to develop the love of godhead”.

Nityananda Prabhu appeared in the year 1474 AD in the month of Magha Shukla Trayodashi in Ekachakra village of West Bengal. He was also called as Nitai and was always in the devotional mood towards Lord Sri Krishna.
