Hyderabad: The Department of Hospital Administration, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), on Sunday held its alumni meet, commemorating 35 years in the field of healthcare administration education.

The event saw the participation from over 100 alumni, who currently hold key administrative positions across the country’s healthcare sector.


The gathering celebrated the department’s legacy of producing healthcare administrators, who have gone on to shape policy and improve healthcare delivery systems nationwide, according to a press release.

Former Medical Superintendents of NIMS Dr Pulijala Satyanarayana and Dr Indira Venkatraman, Medical Superintendent and Head of Department of Hospital Administration Dr Nimma Satyanarayana, senior faculty, including additional professors and additional medical superintendents, and RMOs were present.
