Hyderabad: Novotel celebrates Diversity and Inclusion week

Diversity and Inclusion week is being celebrated at the hotel to honour and promote the values of tolerance, openness, equity, and respect, which are the core strengths of Accor group

Hyderabad: Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion week, i.e. June 14 – June 20, Novotel Hyderabad Airport has conducted a wall painting session by the employees, letting them express the theme through creative use of colours.

The Diversity and Inclusion week is being celebrated at the hotel to honour and promote the values of tolerance, openness, equity, and respect, which are the core strengths of Accor group. The celebrations throughout the week are focused on Gender Diversity, Social Ethnic Racial, and Cultural Diversity, People with Disabilities, LGBTQ, and other social justice initiatives aimed at the well being of the teams, stimulate innovation and improve individual and collective performance.

Starting off with a cake-cutting ceremony with a pledge by all employees to strengthen and imbibe the principles of inclusion, it concluded with the wall-painting, with the wall being marked as a souvenir for this celebration, a press release said.

Rubin Cherian, hotel’s general manager, said, “We aim to create an inclusive and accepting environment that embraces different backgrounds and viewpoints of all of our employees and leverage them for a wonderful customer experience, as diversity and inclusion are important pillars of our culture.”
