Yadadri temple receives international recognition from Canadian PM
Yadagirigutta Temple has been honoured with international recognition by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney for its contribution to cultural exchange. During the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam in Ottawa, Carney commended the efforts of Hindu Canadians in strengthening Canada’s cultural fabric.

Yadadri-Bhongir: Yadagirigutta Temple has received a rare honour of international recognition. In an official letter, Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney conveyed his appreciation to the temple authorities and devotees during the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam held at the EY Centre in Ottawa recently.
The Prime Minister praised the contribution of Hindu Canadians to the nation’s diversity and cultural strength. He described the Mahotsavam as an occasion to celebrate a sacred tradition, experience spiritual joy, and honour the values of unity and community.
He also expressed gratitude to the temple organisers and coordinators for their efforts in bringing devotees together in Ottawa and lauded the role of the Hindu community in enriching Canadian society.
Temple Executive Officer, S Venkat Rao said that it is indeed a great honour for them. He said that they will continue to organise such programmes in the future.
