Hyderabad: Programmes in support of the ‘hijab’ continued at various places in the city on Monday.

At Government City College, students affiliated to the National Students union of India (NSUI) staged a demonstration in support of the ‘hijab’ and denounced the harassment of the students in Karnataka. Around 100 students participated in the rally held at the Petlaburj junction.

A group of social workers also organised a ‘hijab’ distribution programme at Charminar and handed it over to several people including foreign nationals. The group explained to the people about the hijab and its importance.
