Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police arrested one person who was allegedly involved in a burglary case at a company in Katedan last month.
The arrested person, Mohammed Imtiyaz, (33) a native of Bihar, along with four others allegedly broke into SV Industries at Anandnagar in Katedan and broke open the almirah by using hammer, screwdrivers and iron rods and stole Rs 50 lakh. They distributed the cash among themselves, said Mailardevpally Sub-inspector M Kumar Goud.
The police nabbed two of them a few days ago while Imtiyaz, who was absconding, was arrested on Sunday. The police have, so far, recovered Rs 18 lakh from them. Efforts are on to nab the remaining two suspects.
