Hyderabad: Tension prevailed on the Osmania University campus here on Tuesday as students staged a protest against the Telangana Congress government’s decision to auction 400-acres of land abutting University of Hyderabad campus in Kancha Gachibowli
The protesters, including from BRSV, PDSU, AISF and SFI, demanded immediate withdrawal of land auction and wanted protection of the land and wildlife there.
Police arrested the protesters from the Arts College and shifted them to the local police station.
