Hyderabad: Parents protest over child’s death from collapsed school gate
The child was playing along with other children when the heavy iron gate collapsed. The boy came under the gate and was rushed to hospital where he later died.
Hyderabad: Parents and relatives of Ajay, a standard first student who died when the school iron gate fell on him on Monday sat on a protest in front of the school this morning demanding action against those responsible for the incident.
The child was playing along with other children when the heavy iron gate collapsed. The boy came under the gate and was rushed to hospital where he later died.
The children climbed on the gate and where shaking it when the gate fell and Ajay came under it.
The Hayathnagar police shifted the body to mortuary.
However, the parents and the local gathered at the school and sat on a protest.
The police are holding a meeting with the parents and school staff to resolve the issue and end the protest.
