Hyderabad: Parked ambulance damaged after tree falls near Niloufer Hospital

A parked ambulance was severely damaged after a tree collapsed on it near Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad's Nampally on Tuesday midnight. No injuries were reported. GHMC's Monsoon Emergency Team and police cleared the tree and restored traffic movement.

The incident occurred, when a large tree gave way and fell onto the stationary ambulance, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. Fortunately, no one was inside the ambulance at the time, and no injuries or loss of life were reported.

On receiving information about the incident, Nampally police and GHMC Monsoon Emergency Team personnel rushed to the spot. The fallen tree was removed using heavy equipment, and traffic movement, which was briefly disrupted, was restored.

Police and civic authorities have requested the citizens to remain cautious during heavy rain and strong winds.
