Hyderabad photographer arrested for raping, cheating woman

Hyderabad: The Bachupally police arrested a photographer on charges of raping a woman and impregnating her on promise of marriage on Tuesday.
Police said B Yesudas David (43) from Mallampet promised work as a social media campaigner during the 2023 assembly elections to the victim and sexually exploited her.
When the victim who learnt that she became pregnant asked David to marry her, he started avoiding and cheated her.
Based on the complaint from the victim’s mother, the Dundigal police booked a case and transferred it to Bachupally for further investigation.
