A plumber died by suicide at his house in Malakpet on Saturday night, reportedly due to family issues

Hyderabad: A plumber died by suicide at his house in Malakpet on Saturday night, reportedly due to family issues.

P. Mallesh (41), a resident of Moosarambagh, Malakpet, quarreled with his wife over family issues on Saturday night. Later, he scolded and beat his wife and sent her out of the house.

“Mallesh then went into a room in the house and hanged himself from the ceiling fan using a rope. An hour later, his wife tried to get into the house and found the main door latched from inside. With the help of neighbours, the door was opened and Mallesh was found hanging,” said Malakpet police.

On a complaint, the police registered a case and are investigating.
