Hyderabad Police all geared up for Bonalu, Bakrid
Anjani Kumar said the police were coordinating with all departments concerned to ensure peaceful conduct of the Bonalu processions and the Eid-ul-Adha festival.
Hyderabad: Elaborate arrangements are being made for the forthcoming Bonalu and Eid-ul Adha festivals in the city and adequate police personnel are being deployed, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said.
Interacting with the media on Tuesday, Anjani Kumar said the police were coordinating with all departments concerned to ensure peaceful conduct of the Bonalu processions and the Eid-ul-Adha festival.
“Already the Golconda temple Bonalu festival was held in a peaceful manner with the close coordination of the city police and other government departments. Next in line are the Ujjaini Mahankali and Lal Darwaza temples Bonalu celebrations for which all arrangements are being made,” he said.
In view of the Bakrid festival, he said a meeting was already held on the arrangements. “In case there is any problem or complaint, please inform the police on Dial 100. Don’t take law into your hands. We are here to support and help you,” he said.
