Jangaiah demanded immediate withdrawal of the undemocratic circular, calling it a violation of students’ rights. He criticised the Telangana Congress government for arresting students who were questioning the university administration.

“The fight against the circular will continue until the university administration withdraws it,” he said.

Highlighting the Congress Assembly elections manifesto, including the promise of electric scooters for women students, Janaiah demanded immediate fulfilment of all promises.

The BRSV secretary pointed out that university students were raising concerns over the need for better facilities, including setting up of new hostels and libraries on the campus. Additionally, he demanded the State government release pending fee reimbursement without further delay.

B Nagaraj Yadav, V Ramakrishna and Sai Goud from BRSV and Nelli Satya and Bhagat from AISF were among the arrested students who were shifted to OU Police Station.
