Hyderabad: Police nab 23 for gambling in Lal Darwaza
Acting on a tip off, the Commissioner’s Task Force (South) raided a building near Lal Darwaza on Sunday night and found the suspects playing a Three Cards game with cash at stake.
Hyderabad: Twenty three persons were caught in a late night raid on a gambling den in Lal Darwaza. The police seized Rs. 28,180, 19 phones and 10 vehicles from them.
Acting on a tip off, the Commissioner’s Task Force (South) raided a building near Lal Darwaza on Sunday night and found the suspects playing a Three Cards game with cash at stake.
“One Vijay was organizing the betting and invited people to participate. He was collecting a commission from the players,” said S Raghavendra, Inspector, Task Force (South).
The arrested persons were handed over to the Moghalpura police for further action.
