Hyderabad: Police nab suspect in gold chain snatching case

The Jagathgirigutta police arrested Mamidi Suresh for allegedly snatching a gold chain from 23-year-old Alwal Mounika in Adityanagar, Hyderabad. The police recovered the stolen property and registered a case following the victim’s complaint

Hyderabad: The Jagathgirigutta police arrested a man on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly snatching a gold chain from a woman.

According to authorities, the victim, 23-year-old Alwal Mounika, was walking on the road at Adityanagar when the suspect, Mamidi Suresh, a native of Rajanna Sircilla, allegedly flicked away her gold chain and fled the scene.


Following her complaint, the police formed special teams, apprehended Suresh, and recovered the stolen property. A case has been registered.
