Hyderabad: Postal cover honouring M V Krishna Rao released

Hyderabad: Chief Postmaster General, Telangana, S Rajendra Kumar, released a special cover honouring freedom fighter and politician MV Krishna Rao on Rao’s 95th birth anniversary, on Wednesday.
Remembered for his social work, especially in the aftermath of the November 1977 cyclone, Rao was a staunch follower of Gandhian principles. He is also known for his work towards Telugu literature and culture.
Retired Justice Bhavani Prasad, retired IPS officer, Dr R Prabhakar Rao, Postmaster General, Hyderabad, Dr PVS Reddy among others were present at the release.
