Hyderabad: Power supply official nabbed by ACB
Tukaram allegedly demanded bribe to process the already completed electric pole shifting work and installing electrical meters apart from shifting another pole, ACB officials said
Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested Munjam Tukaram, an artisan grade –II working at the office of Assistant Engineer (Operations) in TSSPDCL in Jeedimetla, when he allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs 8,000 from a complainant G Shiva Kumar of Vivekananda Nagar in Qutbullapur for doing an official favour.
Tukaram allegedly demanded bribe to process the already completed electric pole shifting work and installing electrical meters apart from shifting another pole, ACB officials said. The tainted amount that was kept in the office table drawer was also recovered.
Officials produced Tukaram before the special court for ACB cases after which he was remanded in to judicial custody.
