Hyderabad: Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolarum, the official retreat home of the President of India, celebrated ‘World Students’ Day’ on Wednesday, commemorating the birth anniversary of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
On this occasion, a project showcase was organised on the theme ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, highlighting innovative ideas and visions of young minds towards building a developed India. Around 25 projects were presented by students from various schools, ITIs, and polytechnic colleges, reflecting creativity and technological potential.
Among these, Pranav International School – Project on Deep Space Communication, ZPHS Vanasthalipuram – Project on Smart House, BVB Bhavans – Project on Spectrals for Blind People, Ocimum International School – Waste to Energy Conversion, and ZPHS Yarragunta – Blindman Stick project were selected as top 5 prize winners. A total of 1,840 students visited the Rashtrapati Nilayam and participated enthusiastically in the event, a release stated.
