Hyderabad: Rashtrapati Nilayam to host Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav
More than 300 artists and artisans from these states would be participating in the event at the Main Lawns of Rastrapati Nilayam, which is the winter home of the President.

Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the first edition of eight-day Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav, an event showcasing the rich tapestry of country’s heritage, at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolaram on September 28.
The Mahotsav, between September 29 and October 6, will showcase the art, culture, crafts, and culinary diversity of the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
More than 300 artists and artisans from these states would be participating in the event at the Main Lawns of Rastrapati Nilayam, which is the winter home of the President.
Along with the eight state pavilions, there will be live demonstration area where artisans showcase their handicraft making in real time, a Geographical Indicator (G.I.) product zone, and immersive digital selfie area, a technology enabled youth-engagement zone and a food-court serving north-eastern delicacies.
Being anchored by the Ministry of Development of North-East Region with support from the Ministry of Culture, it will have also performances of dance forms and folk music. Entry is fee and visitors are allowed between 10 am and 8 pm. Visitors can reserve their slot at https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in and on-the-spot booking facility will be available for walk-in visitors.
