President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the second Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad. The festival, open from November 22–30, highlights Western India’s folk culture through handicrafts, music, dance, literature, and cuisine. Entry is free, with online and on-spot booking available
Each of the eight North Eastern states set up pavilions where visitors could engage with artisans, observe traditional crafts and purchase handmade products
More than 300 artists and artisans from these states would be participating in the event at the Main Lawns of Rastrapati Nilayam, which is the winter home of the President.
