Hyderabad: Hyderabad, after conceding the vital first-innings lead, salvaged a draw against Saurashtra in the Vijay Merchant Trophy (Under-16) three-day cricket championship second-round match at Mulapadu (Vijayawada) on Sunday.
The scores: At Mulapadu (Vijayawada): Saurashtra 245 in 61.5 overs & 263/6 in 60 overs (N Swaritsinh 38, S Purva 100 not out, Mantra Gurnani 76 not out, Ved Reddy 3/75) drew with Hyderabad 142 in 58.3 overs & 156/2 in 54 overs (Huzaifa 51 not out, Parthiv 88 not out).
